Another Obstacle to Recording

Crickets. Chirping. All evening.

We kept going outside and stomping around near the doors. That would stop them for a few minutes, but before long they would start singing again.

I guess they thought they could sing better than we could...

So, add a can of Raid to the must-have recording equipment.

Spraying crickets? Come on ... Poor little bugs. What's next in your spree of destruction?

My wife declares war on all bugs just like that...

Well, Trey, I checked and it really is a mating song, so another less destructive option would be neutering...if I could find someone to perform the surgery.

Are you qualified?

(I am coming across as a mass executioner on this blog lately, aren't I?)

Hey, before you execute poor crickets, could I bring you a yogurt tub and you catch them for the frog in my 4th grade class? I hate spending money on crickets from the pet store!!

I'm with ya' on this one, Shaner. Crickets just always know when I cannot go to sleep, but their "putting me to sleep" music just doesn't work.

BTW... there's something going on this year about this (cricket thing) because my room and office at school is getting OVER-RUN by crickets and their cemetary.
