Easter

At its simplest, we celebrate life this weekend.

We constantly find ourselves looking for life in the wrong places...seeking the living among the dead, so to speak. Life isn't found in possessions, promotions, or popularity. It won't be found upon completion of another drink, nor at the development of another relationship. Those things are all dead. They may seem alive, but they are no different than a puppet - when the intital excitement is gone, they fall limp and lifeless to the floor.

The life we're looking for is found in the person of Jesus. When He breaths life into a soul, they learn what it means to truly live. Suddenly, you experience life in HD! Everything is brighter, sharper, clearer, more captivating, and more breathtaking. The old black-and-white life will never be good enough again.

I hope you feel fully alive today!

One of the the things that attracts me to Christianity is that it is a paradox. The dead are alive and the alive are dead... Thanks for your thoughts. They were good to read.
