Play Ball!

I've been looking forward to today. Mike and I will be meeting up in Stillwater to enjoy the OSU - Nebraska baseball game this afternoon - the first one I'll have been able to attend this year. I have a feeling I may pay the price physically by the end of the day, but it should be well worth it, if for no other reason than to spend time with my friend.

I've made some updates to my links on the right. Check them out if you're so inclined.

I hope I didn't offend anyone by leaving them out. If I did, please be assured it was either:

1. completely unintentional

or

2. intentional...only because you don't update your blog often enough and I don't care for dead links...

Hannah is a new blogger that wants you to know she's out there. She's also a member of our Praise Team.

Lindsay just posted about an awesome experience with the Memorial Drive teen group last Wednesday night.

Franklin has some good thoughts for parents to consider regarding their children and their faith.

I'm happy to report that our water was back on when we arrived home yesterday evening. You should be happy because this means I will smell better when you see me next time.

Happy Saturday, all!

Shane I had a blast at the game! I'm glad that you and I can meet up at least a couple of times a year and do this. Miss our outings and playing together... but will take the games any time I can get 'em. Hope you're not in too much pain tonight. Maybe the fact that Nebraska was SPANKED and that you were able to witness it will make it all better. :-)

Thanks, Matt. I'll try to contribute if I have something of value to say (which isn't very often), but know that I do read regularly.

Sure didn't see a 19-2 win coming today, huh, Mike?

Had a GREAT time. Thanks for joining me today.

Shane -
I love baseball, it's a great sport! There are lots of great lessons to be learned from team sports...and then there's the enjoyment of just watching a good game with a good friend. I hope you had a blast!

I'm praying your health is good, have a great day!
