Lipscomb Summer Celebration

One week from today a group of us will be headed to Nashville to participate in Lipscomb University's Summer Celebration Lectureship and ACAFEST!

The Memorial Drive Praise Team will be leading worship on Thursday evening in the amphitheater at 9:15. I'll also be teaching a class on Worship Ministry on Friday morning at 9:45. The full schedule is here.

We're looking forward to being a part of this great event!

Yay! for Summer Celebration & Acafest!

How long does it take to drive in from Tulsa?

It's about an 11 hour drive, best I recall.

That's a looooong time to be in a 15 passenger van... ; )

Yeah....but Vicki is bring GAMES for the van! This should be fun!

Here's a game for you... and it'll be a great warm-up for Lipscomb!

See how many different songs (religious and non) you can sing with the words to Amazing Grace! Not kidding... an a capella group that I sang with one summer, we did this from Lincoln, NB all the way to OKC! NO JOKE! Quite funny, too.

Long drives are the best! ;-)
We only have about 5.5 hours. JP will drive the whole way because I can't drive his car, and I'll be studying. lol
