So, we're standing outside on the driveway Sunday afternoon as Mike and Jeanise were leaving. The day is beautiful. The sky is mostly clear...only a handful of white, puffy clouds.
All of a sudden, I feel drops of moisture from the sky. Hmmm...where could those be coming from? There isn't a cloud directly above us, and the ones I can see are white, not gray.
But the drops keep coming.
Now, understand we are in the flight path (about 5 miles out) to Tulsa's airport, so we're used to airplanes flying overhead. In fact, one had passed over our house a few moments before.
Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
All I know is that we got inside pretty quick...

Um....now that's just gross! Next time I'm over, I will make sure NOT to stand in the driveway...or anywhere outside for that matter. Maybe this is why your lawn looks so good!
Yesterday we had an interesting discussion about Musical Philosophy, and today we're moving into the arcane field of Airline Sewage Philosophy.
My analysis:
- Shaner is a pessimist with his random-airline-passengers-are-weeing-on-me attitude.
- Brenda is clearly an optimist with her grass-is-always-greener-in-flight-paths attitude.
- I am still a realist: It was probably just a medium-sized-bird-with-a-mean-streak that peed on Shane.
We have been fighting some birds trying to build a nest on our front porch...
Weswaugh.....
That was just funny!!!! ;o)
THOSE WERE HUGE DROPS, THOUGH! Mussav been some bird! :-) Guess even airplanes have to "go" sometimes, huh?
May have been a leak. Airplane toilets don't flush out into open air, under normal conditions. Still, just as well you got inside....
That reminds me of a train I rode in Ukraine.
The restroom was a small compartment with a hole in the floor.
No seat, ladies. You could see the world passing by below.
Gives a whole new meaning to looking out when crossing the train tracks...
Now this is what I call "toilet humor"...
