The Music of the (Tomorrow) Night

I'm normally not much of an opera/musical kind of guy, but I am excited to go see The Phantom of the Opera tomorrow night with Alice and 6 other wonderful friends. We're making a night of it, complete with dressing up and dinner at Charleston's. Should be a blast!

So, what's your favorite opera or musical?

Sounds like you'll have a great night out tomorrow night! :-)

Haven't seen Phantom yet, it makes its way back to Dayton in the 2009-2010 series.

We've been to about 15 opera or broadway shows since 2005- its hard to choose 1. My favorite opera is probably Carmen, Tosca or Madame Butterfly. Incredibly hard to choose for the broadway shows- Aida, Jesus Christ Superstar, Chicago...

We aren't going to any of the opera or broadway shows. Instead will will go to more concerts!

I can't wait for tomorrow night! I think we will all have a blast! I have to say that truly, my all time favorite is the Phantom of the Opera. I've waited my whole life to see it so this will be a treat! And I couldn't think of better people to celebrate this first moment with. Can you tell I'm quite excited???;o)

I love the Fiddler On The Roof. It is my favorite because of the emphasis on family and tradition. I also like it because my granddad played the fiddle with the family when I was younger. The songs are great too.

So not fair! I bet u'll never guess which one is my favorite. I LOVE Phantom of the Opera! It's one of my favorite movies and I'd love to see it live. I wish I could go with ya'll, but at least I'm going later. I get to go with my mom and maybe another friend June 8th. I'm so excited. Enjoy yourselves tomorrow!

Jeanise and I (10th anniversary) went to New York and saw Lion King. That was probably the absolutely the COOLEST thing that I had ever seen. We had a choice of a second one to go see... I really wanted to see Phantom on Broadway (eventhough Jeanise had seen it 3 times already there on previous trips). It was AMAZING! I think that Beauty and the Beast (which we saw in Tulsa) comes in at a close 3rd.
SIDE NOTE: At Phantom, a big HUGE (TALL) guy comes walking in after the lights went down. Turns out, it was Shawn Bradley, who at that time was playing for the Dallas Mavericks! He is EVERY BIT of 7'6"!
But the best part of the trip (aside from spending it with my lovely wife) was the METS vs. YANKEES game at Yankee Stadium! :-)

ENJOY!

Gotta be "Wicked." The movie "Phantom of the Opera" is better than the stage production. (IMHO)You'll enjoy it. Have fun.

Aaah, "Fiddler on the Roof." Now there's a good one! I can't watch it without crying. As far as Broadway musical stage productions go, it's been hard to see anything that beats "The Lion King" or "Beauty and the Beast." Both were quite spectacular.

Nice title Shane! I enjoyed it ;-)

How was Phantom?

Clever... but it's kinda' like the guy who laughs at his own jokes. :-) Yes, that happens to me A LOT, but that's not the point here....
Yes, How did you like the Music of (Last) Night?
