A Day at the Aquarium

We took the kiddos to the aquarium on Monday.

They feed the sharks at 1:30, and let me tell you, it is a feeding frenzy. It was hard to get any good pictures, though, since they move so fast and the lighting is so dim.

I thought the jellyfish were cool.

Anna liked the stingrays...

...until one jumped up and scared her... (and I just happened to catch it on the camera)

This turtle was doing his "standing on three legs" trick. We didn't have the heart to tell him that we weren't impressed, as we stand on two all the time.

Aren't the colors cool?

This last one wasn't at the aquarium, but I thought I'd post a pic of story time. I love Noah's expression!

Um...thanks...I think??? :)

To be clear, I am not a Daddy.

I am merely an Uncle.

Although my Mom and Mother-in-Law will love to read your comment, Trey. He, he.

I wish I had cool uncles that did stuff like that when I was little. I know I am going to strive to be fun uncle.

I know my boy loved the Aquarium in Corpus.

Totally awesome pictures. Looks like the niece and nephews really enjoyed their vacation with Uncle Shane and Aunt Alice! You WOULD make a good Daddy Shane! And Alice would make a super Mommie! (Hint :-)!)

Looks like you've been having a good time with the kiddos! :)

I have to agree with Sweet Momma: you and Alice would make a wonderful daddy and mommy! I see the amazing way in which you allow God to control every area of your life right now, and I have no doubt that as a parent you would follow His leading in the same way.

Glad you've had fun with the kiddos; they are blessed to have you in their lives!

Me....I'm not even going to make a comment about this! ;o)

Yeah, well, you're wiser than the rest of us, Bren. ;-)

I've learned that in some situations....it's just better not to say anything at all! ;o)

I guess I should have thought of that before I hit the "Publish Your Comment" button. ;-)

Lindsay -

Don't EVEN let her fool you. She said the same thing. She just sent it to me in an e-mail rather than posting it here... ; )

He, he!

Nice try, Brenda! But you've been tattled on!

(And you know, Shane, if we all agree, there has to be at least some truth to it. =D)

Can't believe my friend ratted me out! ;o) No more circle of trust!

Great pictures, Shane! Having a cool aunt and uncle is such a blessing! My kids had that and it made visiting family so much better! Knowing you had relatives your parents' age that you could have fun with helped you realize that not everyone that age was "not cool" to hang out with!
Keep up the good work you two! (I'm staying AWAY from the other topic! Te he!)
