The Golden Ticket

OK, well, maybe not THE golden ticket...but we are in line to see a couple of Royals - Rangers games next week. I'm excited!

I'm ready for a break. I've reached that point where certain things are weighing on me, other things are annoying me, and I just need to be refreshed. It's nothing major...nothing that a couple of days out of town with my sweet wife can't fix. But it is necessary.

An added bonus is getting to see my first favorite team, the Royals, play my (probably) second favorite team, the Rangers (although I like Boston and Houston pretty well, too).

Maybe the Royals can break my streak. They have never (and I mean NEVER) won a game in my presence. Yikes!

The Royals started off with a bang this year. I hope the do well while you're watching them, even though it'll be against my Rangers.

Nothing like going to a ballgame. Have a GREAT time.

I'm glad you are able to get away and have those weights lifted. Not necessarily lifting weights...but you know what I mean! ;o)
And going to a game with Alice...well, I can't think of a better time. Well, me personally it would be going to a game with Chad...so I guess I can. ;o)

Now...do you think because they have NEVER won a game in your presence might make you "bad luck"??? I sure hope not!

Hope you have a fantastic time away!!!

Hey Shane - good to find you in the blogosphere! Have a fun trip to KC. My brother-in-law is a Royals fan...it's good for them to have the true fans like you during times like this. We are in Tampa now so happily rooting for the Rays. Hopefully they can keep it up!
