Where Am I?

Sorry, time to write this week has been scarce. Something scheduled for every evening.

Al and I celebrated our 8th anniversary on Tuesday evening. We drove to Stillwater in the new Yukon and ate at Joseppi's. I think next time we want Italian we'll just go to Pepperoni Grill. But, it was fun to get the new vehicle out on the road and we had never been to the newest Amigo (part of the Eskimo Joe's family), so it was worth it.

8 years. No kids. Can we make it another 8?

Just kidding. I think.

72 degree days in January. Not one, but 2 of them. I love Oklahoma.

My sister's surgery seems to have gone well. Mike's son Chris is on the slow road to recovery. For any of you who may have stopped to pray for them, thank you.

Which brings to mind one of my pet peeves. How many times have you promised to pray for someone or something, and then not followed through? I've been guilty of that on occasion in the past. But I try very hard not to be. As far as lies go, I think that is one of the worst - to tell someone that you will take them before the Father, and then fail to do it. Think about it.

Your 8th Anniversary, congratulations!!! How ever about your comment of "8 years. No Kids." The real question is Can Mom and Dad last another "8" years with no little "Oklahoma State University, Coffman Grandkids?"
Oh the pressure, and at my age!!!!!

8 years... not too bad. I know for the grandparents, it's kinda tough. But you guys have to have a little bit of "fun" before you're chasing kid(s) around (other than Zorro) for the next 18-20+ years. But on the other hand... there's no greater feeling in the world than being a parent. Jeanise and I have been blessed by Joel and don't know what we'd ever have done without him. (maybe play more dominoes!) :-) God will let you guys know when it's "time."

Thanks for still being our friends... :-)
