That's what I sound like to Alice right now. It's tough to talk with a mouth full of gauze and have anyone be able to understand you.

So much for being unconscious. I think I was pretty alert through the whole procedure. Don't know if the drugs they were using weren't strong enough or if that was their intent. I was aware of a lot of pulling, prying, drilling, and talking. The doc seemed like he was in hyper-drive (working very fast). I was in recovery within 45 minutes of when they started. I was home around 10:00.

Nothing too bad yet (other than lots of blood), but I'm sure the worst is yet to come.

All things considered, I'd still rather be at work....
