Try it, you'll like it

I've spent my whole life professing a dislike for Chinese food. So, I wasn't exactly thrilled when a salesman friend of mine wanted to take me to P.F. Changs for lunch yesterday. But, considering that I am on a soft food diet right now due to my orthodontic work and I figured I could at least find some noodles there, I didn't put up a fight. Besides, I was interested in seeing what was so special about this place that has insane lines almost every evening (I've heard of people waiting 2 or even 3 hours).

I had chicken chow mein, and it was very tasty. I even had enough for leftovers this evening. It was still tasty.

While it isn't destined to be part of the standard restaurant rotation for us, I do believe it will be an option when we're hungry from now on.

But only if the lines aren't too bad.

When you're up for some chewing, try sesame chicken. (I don't think PF Chang's usually has it on their menu, though... you'll have to go somewhere else.) I'm not a big Chinese food fan, but sesame chicken totally floats my boat.

I don't recall if PF Chang's has it or not, but Mongolian Beef is quite good as well...when I first started eating Chinese food a few years ago, that was all I would eat because it's not super "chinesey"...beef, peppers and onions, nothing too crazy. But hey, good job trying something new :)
