"The Lord said to Noah, there's gonna be a floody, floody. Get those children out of the muddy, muddy....Rise and shine and give God the glory, glory." I'm sorry. It brings back nightmares. The voices start talking in my head. And I have to go take my medicine. I'm glad you're the one leading the songs!!
Jim, fortunately our youth minister has been the one screaming his voice out leading the kid's singing this week rather than me. He's doing an excellent job, too, I might add.
I remember the Hippo song. The kids at OCA ALWAYS wanted to sing it. Don't worry... it'll grow on you so much that you'll have the worship team singing it on Sunday.
Ahhhh the hippo song! The first time I heard that song was about 15 years ago at a worship seminar conducted by Jeff Nelson and Lynn Anderson. You should have seen Jeff Nelson trying to teach that song to a room full of adults. It was hilarious. Glad to see you survived your first VBS at MDCC Shane! :)
You know....I think that would be a great dance for the Sooners. With all those touchdowns....they need a celebration dance!!! It's just sad those cowboys don't have anything to dance to. so sad!!!

I like the Hippo song!!!!! There are some profound "movements" to that song!!!!
"brain...mush...kids...augh"
I do believe those are profound words... if not profound, they are definitely descriptive. :)
Shane you likely make a great Hippo!! You were a great Spiderman and Superman growing up and your sister just loved your Royals uniform.
Just think how great it would be to have your own Sam and Noah around the house playing Spiderman and Superman!! He He He!!!!!
Dad
Well, our VBS does have a super hero theme...
I love this...your dad telling childhood stories of you on here! Ahhh....Shane...the superhero! You go boy!

Don't forget, "go build me an arkey, arkey..."

You know you're going to miss it. :-)
Yeah...so how about that tootsie tahh song??? Were you moving and shaking with that one?
"A tootsie tahh, a tootsie tahh, a tootsie tahh, tahh."
What, you didn't see me getting down with my bad self on that song?
Actually, I heard they were going to make that the offical touchdown celebration dance in Norman this fall...
