A Lot

The spiders tried to reclaim our house while we were gone. There are a lot of them around here. As usual, Zorro did little to defend. I'm going to have to dock his pay (I say this as he is napping at my feet so peacefully and cute). Theresa, maybe we should have you and "Spider-Killer" over for dinner?

The leaves are starting to fall. Reality has hit us that we bought a lot with 17 trees, all of which will drop a lot of leaves. What was a blessing during the summer months (good shade), will become a curse in the fall. At this point they aren't even turning pretty colors, they are just turning straight to brown and turning loose. If I'm going to have to clean them up, it would be nice that they be aesthetically pleasing for at least a few days.

Being out of touch with TV, e-mail, etc. served me well this past weekend. I didn't have to experience the OSU 4th quater collapse at K-State (that happens a lot...). In fact, I didn't even know for sure they had lost until I checked the web this morning.

Saw a lot of friends, learned a lot, ate a lot, experienced a lot, worshipped a lot, rode a lot, laughed a lot, dreamed a lot, planned a lot, blessed a lot. Home to Zorro meowing a lot.

I like it all a lot.

Spider Killer is at your service, but she is only one broom. :)

Wow! That sounds like a lot!!!! On an encouraging note, our last house had tons of trees, but since our yard was not fenced they just blew away! Wait long enough and they will be a few blocks away and you can pretend like you were going to take care of them right before that cold front blew through! This weekend was amazing thanks A LOT for sharing it with all of us. :)

Ooo, I like that idea a lot, Jeanne. Maybe there's still hope!
