Predictions

First of all, I offer my condolances and heart-felt sympathy to the families of those lost in the I-35 bridge collapse in Minnesota this week. Us Oklahomans feel your pain, as the I-40 bridge collapse is still fresh in our minds.

I predict that a large number of U.S. bridges will soon be declared unsafe and either closed or limited in the near future as a result of this week's events.

That is a good thing that will come out of this terrible tragedy.

I also predict that there will be lawsuits out the kazoo from the families of those injured or killed trying to get millions of dollars out of the government, engineers, and contractors.

That is a bad thing that keeps getting worse and worse in our country.
