Mistakes

I need to reprogram my fingers. When I;m meaning to type an apostrophe, I keep hitting the semi-colon. Over and over again. I;m forever going back and correcting myself. I didn;t use to have this problem.

Another repeat offender for me ist he word "the". I keep puttingt he "t" ont he end oft he word before andt he space betweent he "t" andt he "h".

Any mistakes you keep repeating over and over?

I often type my name JOhn instead of John.

hte is common for the.

I'm sure there are others!

When trying to type:
It, If, or In...comes out just "I"
therefore, making comments looking very self directed!

how long did it take you to make all of those mistakes on purpose? :)

I tend to type the "hte" and I have a bad habit of typing "every" when I mean "very". And sometimes... when I'm really tired... I think my fingers go on autopilot and I type things like "bring" when I mean to type "boring". And just now.. .I typed "time" instead of "time".

Proof reading, people. It's very important. :)

and by typing "time" instead of "time" I meant I typed "time" instead of "type". So... you can see how bad I am. Yikes!

My fingers get ahead of me when two letters are close together that I both need to use. Such as typing "acutally" instead of "actually." And in fact, when just typing the word "typing" I first spelled "tpying." What a mess!

T, what's funny is that I make those mistakes all the time...EXCEPT when typing a blog about them!

Ok...I will be typing along and my brain will skip to something else and I will type about that instead of what I started...like: My cat just jumped at the dishes on the cabinet that is a smudge on the wall and the trash needs taking out....
And to quote a famous person:
"Proof reading, people need the Lord..!"

Shane thank you for pointing out mistakes. I know I make a lot of them. You though; your perfect.:-)
LOL

You really did make me lol, preacherman!

I can tell you that the pitch correction feature on our recording software would indicate otherwise...

And I'm sure my wife would, too...

And ask the praise team about my ability to explain how we're going to sing a piece of music...

And find out about my ability (or lack thereof) to play the piano...

And what about me starting all of these sentences with "And"? My elementary school teachers would have a fit!

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Yikes! What a wretched man I am!

I would like to address that piano issue!

Okay, Shane, this dear English teacher friend of yours loves you dearly and so looks forward to reading your blog at the end of a long school day; however, after this one I need to take an aspirin and lie down for awhile!

Must be something about teh word "the". :-) Ever since my sophomore year in typing class, I've had a bad habit of typing "teh" instead of "the". Thank goodness that my spell checker fixes it for me... most of teh (ah!) time.

what about typing "you" instead or "your"

Oh sure, but most of them don't involve the keyboard... they are more along the lines of needing to be more patient, not helping others like I know I should... but on another note, i don't capitalize my words like i should, i'm just too lazy to hit 2 keys at once! But i think i'll focus on the other mistakes instead!

Shane, Good to see you this weekend.

My worst typing mistakes are:
When I type "Church of Christ" on autopilot and end up with "Church of Christy" (my wife is Christy!

I often type, "sining" instead of "singing". We had a good time sining in Tulsa this weekend!!

Later,
Doyle
