Sometimes...

Sometimes God just puts so much good stuff in your mind that you can't even sleep. Tonight was one of those nights, so, I've been up since 2:45 this morning (OK, I'll grant you that part of the reason may just be the medication...).

We had a wonderful, encouraging rehearsal last night with the Praise Team. It was great to be back to some semblance of "normal". We worked on a new song and they had it down to perfection by the 3rd run-through. Everything we sang sounded great. I for one needed that lift. The Workshop is truly amazing, but it leaves you so exhausted and drained, both physically and mentally.

I've spent my last 3 1/2 hours listening to music, worshipping, and praying. My mind is awake. My cat is on my lap. My heart is content.

I'll get back to sharing a little more about the Workshop soon (Theresa is cleaning up some never-before-seen pictures from Friday night for me to share here...).

Happy Friday, friends!

Haha! I caught that "hurry up, blogland can't wait" hint. ;)

It's not my fault! I got the photo CD to her! Even if it was a little late...ok maybe it is my fault.

Shane,
I’m glad to hear things are getting closer to normal – we’ll continue to pray for you bro.

I had a similar experience to yours last night – but I woke up with a sermon on mercy running through my mind. So I just hung out and meditated on it for a while

Have a great day...

Shane, I'm glad you're feeling better so now I can sleep :)! Seriously, it is good to see you back to a semblence of your normal self. The pics look great! Thanks for giving us the opportunity to serve and minister to others.

Thank you for your outlook on life, Shane. If I woke up at 2:45am, I would be so frustrated that I wouldn't see the opportunity in it. Thank you for seeing those early morning hours as a chance to spend valuable time in the presence of our God. You are amazing, and He does mighty things through you, my friend!
