Congrats to the Owasso Rams baseball team for winning their 10th State Championship tonight. It was also their 7th title in the last 11 years. We have quite the dynasty cooking in the home town!
I actually watched American Idol tonight. That's not a normal occurance for me. As I see it, Artchuleta has the best voice and Cook has the best stage presence. Unfortunately, Cook is constantly pitchy, which may be his downfall. I think Syesha is probably gone after tonight, although she really didn't do too bad, just nothing spectacular.
Here's hoping the Hornets can take another step towards the NBA championship tonight!
And, finally, can you believe that the city of Muskogee elected a 19 year old OU freshman as their new mayor tonight? Yikes!

I do agree that on vocals, Artchuleta has the best. However, Cook has never been in the bottom and is constanly a winner. I think he has the fan base. But it's a toss up. I can't wait to see the battle of the David's go at it next week!
Haven't watched tonight's episode yet- it's on the list to do for tomorrow.
I've felt it would be the battle of the David's from the get go, I prefer Cook though. I think Artchuleta has a bigger fan base. Next week should be interesting.
Um...yes...I can believe a 19 year old from OU was elected Mayor! He also wants to run for president in the future too. Just sad he won't be staying at OU now.
I agree, Shane. I think that Artchuleta has the best voice (and the teenager vote may keep him in this thing-maybe win), but he doesn't have a very good "Pop-voice" I think. Cook, though, does rock the house and has had some really good moments during the season... but in order for him to win it all, he's going to have to find just the right song.

Congrats on watching Idol. I love it. If you love sappy love songs, Artchuleta is your man. It's all he can do. But David Cook should be a star.
Coming from Muskogee (and yes I am an "Okie from Muskogee") I can believe they would elect a 19 year old 'new blood' over a 70 year old re-elect. After a while you need to have a fresh perspective without all the uhhh....baggage. Besides they can raise him to be the kind of mayor they want...
As for Idol...I watch Fox 23 to get my updates without having to invest the actual time in watching the show. David A's dad may be the deciding factor in who wins.
I agree with you, Tammy. David A seems to have a "stage dad" who could be trouble. I think David A is very sweet and sings well, but Cook seems to have the stage presence and maturity to pull off the tours and such. I like Syesha but I think Idol's ready for another guy. I was kind of disappointed with the performances last night until Cook's last song. I guess we'll see who's got the bigger fan base tonight!
