I just had my first excursion playing basketball since last March. Let's just say I knew I was out of shape.
I remember as a freshman in college how I could play all day and not get tired. I also remember as a senior in college wondering how the freshman had all that energy. Now that I'm in my '30's I'm weighing whether it's worth it to run down the court on fast breaks or just wait until the ball comes back to my side of the court.
The spirit is willing, but the flesh is getting old.
